has it been that long? apparently it has.

when i stopped writing here, it was because i’m about to move my blog to my own domain here but even as i speak (write) now, i haven’t been able to do so. maybe it’s because of my procrastinating nature? ..no, it’s because i haven’t found the right design for my new blog. agh, who am i kidding, of course it’s because i procrastinate too much. -_-

i love writing. in fact, i even put "write a book" and "publish that book" in my "things i want am gonna do before i die" list. i have the plot all ready, the title of book(s), the chapter(s), and everything! all that’s left is for me to actually sit and write. but somehow i always managed to pull a "i want to do this do, i’ll just do that tomorrow" and then i ended up with a cluttered to-do list because i keep on procrastinating. i seriously don’t like it. i want to change. i really do. and i’m gonna prove it that i can.

so, for starter, i will finish my new blog design by this weekend and i’ll start writing and posting regularly starting next week! too much for a starter? ..i kinda think so but no, i must not give up. well, we’ll see. i hope this is gonna be my last post here because i’m moving, baby. yes, you heard that right. i said "baby". :) )

lets talk about..March 1, 2009 7:52 pm

just watched the movie and LOVE it. the ending is easy to predict but i still find the movie really enjoyable. just wonderful. the last time i felt this satisfied walking out of the cinema is when i watched August Rush i guess. i totally recommend this movie if you haven’t watched it. 10/10 from me.

anyway this movie quickly got me thinking about coincidence and destiny (hence the poll). i myself don’t actually believe in coincidence. i always thought that everything happens for a reason, whether it’s good or bad. of course it’s easy to start regretting with all the ifs when bad things happen but no matter how bad you regret it, it won’t change a thing. all we can do is move on and when the time is right we finally could understand the reason why it happened. you won’t know what’s good if you don’t know what’s bad.

as for destiny, i do believe in destiny. the interpretation may vary to what one consider "destiny" is. one could say, "why should i try to be great if i’m destined to be great? it will happen no matter what because it’s destiny, it’s already written". one could also say, "if i’m destined to be great but i’m not doing means necessary to be great then i won’t be great. what’s destiny then if it lies on my own hand?". confusing. :\

i can’t say which is wrong which is right. i can’t even rule out the possibility that there’s actually no wrong or right. if what we call destiny is like an ending, then maybe there are happy endings and sad endings. for me though, if it’s not happy it’s not the end. weird i know, but that’s how i’d like to think about mine.

"you won’t know what’s good if you don’t know what’s bad"
"if it’s not happy it’s not the end"
